Hey, Jeff. Thank you for reading the article and taking the time to write. I am sorry our paths did not overlap. I attended the graduation where Jesse Helms spoke and was grossed out. Did you have ever confront, I mean, have a conversation with your folks about why they sent you there? Amazing that you learned that information about the ancestors of some of your classmates having been involved in the 1898 massacre. I would be surprised if I did not know some of those classmates. Wonder if some of my classmates have a similar connection.
